Nick Clegg – Sorry
Nick Clegg has signalled the start of the countdown to the next election with a televised message aimed at students apologising for breaking a pledge that the Liberal Democrats would oppose rises in tuition fees if elected.
This apology probably comes too late for students already paying £9,000 a year for their higher education as a direct result of the change.
